The Amauri-saga continues
By: Steven | January 2nd, 2008After puking out some more agent-written crap, Amauri’s future is still in doubt. Lots of money and my left shoe (size 14) against his face at Juve, lots of money and a crowbar against his face in Milan or even more money and the imprint of the subsitute bench imprinted in his ass in Barcelona? Or…is he staying in Palermo? If it would be Zampa’s call (which it partly is), Nappyhead ain’t going anywhere. According to StadioNews, Zampa and his boys have offered Amauri a new 4-year contract worth 2.5 million a year. Let’s just hope that retarded manager of his gets his tongue cut out by someone…

Wow, that’s more than twice their top salary now, as far as I can tell. If it’s true, I wonder if we’ll hear about a pissy Barzagli wanting to renegotiate soon …

Fuck Barzagli! If he doesn’t want to be here, ship his ass out! And this is hard for me to say,as he is the the most crucial player on the team!
It seems to me that Grimaldi puts shit into Amauri’s head. (i.e. he is too good for little ole Palermo). Judging by what I can tell, Amauri seems pretty content

Amauri loves the shirt. Remember last season when he scored a goal and was wearing a black/pink tifosi shirt under his kit? Anyone remember what it said?

I believe it said ‘Fuck Grimaldi. Fuck him in the ear.’

Steven, you hear anything about Daisuke Matsui? He’d be great on the left for us but I think we would have to switch formations.

I know is contract ends in june, but the only thing I’ve read about him and Palermo comes from Tribal Football. That’s like saying your uncle’s best friend’s neighbour’s daughter’s butcher told you he’s coming to Palermo.
I’ve seen him play with Le Mans a couple of times, and he’s not bad. But i don’t think he’s talented enough to have a place in our team. He’s no Caserta.

I don’t even bother checking tribal football anymore. that site is worthless…
I have seen Daisuke’s name pop up elsewhere though, on italian transfer market sites and stadionews. I’m not too big on him though. If anyone, I’d take De Melo over him.

I asked a couple of guys who follow Ligue 1 about Daisuke and they said he plays like a soft bitch. He’s got tons of moves but will he really make it in Serie A? From what I’ve heard I don’t think so.
Steven, you really made Caserta grow on me. I hated on him SOO much after that Milan game when he was running around like a rabid squirrel, but the guy plays so hard. With the guys looks it’s a wonder he hasn’t been picked up along Cannavaro to star in a new D&G advert.
