I love the way these fans of big clubs assume there going to get a player because there team is interested……..i know we need a whole lot but does anyone think De Melo can come right in a replace Amuari? And I would love to see Zaccardo stay and replace Barzagli as captain and starting CB beside Rinaudo.

Last time I checked, DeMelo was like 5th in scoring in Ligue 1..Not Amauri, but quality

I do believe we should also get his Japanese partner at Le Mans. Forgot the name, but he’s got power in his feet.

And by the bay, fuck Almiron: http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/may3e.html

Guys, I’m a little busy today, so unless Lorenzo wants to do it, no preview for the Lazio-game. Sorry…

It’s ok, this game means nothing, just don’t put in Di Matteo for Caserta again and I’ll be ok. I’m watching Fulhamerica vs Birmingham right now to see if Bocanegra gets minutes. He’s not starting.

BTW do you think will be going down with Livorno and Reggina? I’m putting my bet on the prosciutti.

Reggina’s going to pull off la salvezza. i’m still saying Livorno/Parma/Catania.

Reggina is going to pull it off because of the one-man wrecking crew that is Ciccio Brienza.

Almiron is garbage anyway. who cares what he says…i’m sure there are a whole lot of “CL” teams who are looking at him. Riiiiiight…last time I checked, Luch Vladivostok was not anywhere near qualifying for the champions league.

De Melo has been good so far in the Ligue 1. But we have to remember it’s not the same as Serie A. Hopefully, he’ll be able to transition over smoothly.

As for Matsui, I remember his name being mentioned in a possible transfer along with De Melo back at the turn of the new year. Palermo seemed to be tracking him for a little bit. I’m not sure whether or not they still are. Nonetheless, here’s a grainy compilation of Matsui: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mb_xRE80l88

Have you seen Reggina’s remaining schedule? Highly doubt it.
I don’t think Catania is going anywhere. Torino’s odds of relagation seem higher than theirs.

The first time Matsui tried a few stepovers against a big Carrozzieri style Serie A defender he would have a broken skull

Guys, how ’bout Simone Loria to add power to the defence?

Reggina has Catania and Cagliari away and Empoli at home. Catania has it worse as Reggina is their easiest game followed by games against Juventus and Roma - and even though those two teams seemingly have nothing to play for, the fact remains that it’s Juve and Roma. Even their reserves are better than the Catanese crap they call a lineup (other than Vargas of course…haha)

Reggina has been poor in their last few games. Their gameplan just needs to be “get the ball to Brienza or Modesto, let them score”. But yeah they got the easiest schedule so you figure they stay up. That last game of the season is prob gonna decide who stays up between Empoli and Reggina. Livorno is prob down, I think Torino goes down as well. Parma looking like hell too.

Catania, Cagliari and Empoli: that’s practically 3 relagation playoff matches in a row. Each week till the end will be like hell on Earth. I wouldn’t call that an easy schedule.

That’s true Kat, at this point in the year those relegation contenders would be relishing a matchup with Palermo. We suck and we have nothing to play for. Easy 1 pt at least.
