Zampa angry, snaps out at team (part XXVI)

By: Steven | February 12th, 2008

Little girls

According to Zampa, this is what the team is.

At the moment this isn’t a group of men, it is a team of little girls and we have to resolve our problems.â€

Yeah Andrea Barzagli, it’s (among others) you he’s talking about. But he didn’t finish there, oh no!

I am going to give them a kick in the backside and see if I can get a reaction out of them.

We’ll see what reaction that’ll bring up. On another note: no review this week as a protest. Reviewing has been done in the comments, that should do the trick.

I want them to lose this week so we can finally kick Guidolo’s ass out of the island.

I agree 100 percent with Kat. What would be the icing on the cake is if Guana gets a red card in the 1st period and we go on to play better without him.

ricci - guana can’t play in this upcoming game b/c of suspension…neither can miccoli or amauri however.

We’re linked with English League 2’s (corresponding to Serie C2) Milton Keynes coach Paul Ince. Not sure what to think about this.

If Ince takes charge, I’m burning my Palermo-scarf. Seriously, he didn’t get the italian game as a player, why would he now? And yeah, League 2…

    I’m still opting for Serse.

Guisep, we don’t need comments like that. I despise the mafioso stereotype put on Sicilians because of those criminal pricks.

Although, the way the Rosanero are playing is bordering on the criminal too!

I actually like this lineup channel 4 is predicting us to throw out there this week…Palermo (probable): Fontana; Zaccardo, Biava, Barzagli, Balzaretti; Simplicio, Migliaccio, Caserta; Jankovic, Bresciano; Cavani

all you gotta do is take out Biava and we’re golden, and let’s hope Tedesco doesn’t make an appearance.

Am I seeing a swing back to a pro-Bresciano stance here?

And don’t be too hard on zio Tedesco… remember what he did against Napoli!

I don’t speak for everyone but Tedesco is fine as a sub. I don’t think he deserves to start, he just doesn’t have the legs or pace to compete with the rest of the guys. That being said, I’d rather have him than Guana bcuz at least he can keep the ball for more than 1 second.

Bresciano ain’t that bad. He was one of our best players last season and I bet a ton of teams would love to have him. For an offensive minded player, he can play some decent defense too. In the right system I think he works, and I think he will surprise some ppl this weekend.

Rob-sorry about the mafia comment….no mean to offend, I actually feel the same way about the stereotypes but I blame that more on the Sopranos than anything :) Bresciano rocks, he’s not getting a fair slice of action right now…I want to see more Jancovic and Bresciano
