Thursday Transfer Talk

By: Steven | May 8th, 2008

Two more games to go, and Sunday may be a special one. Not only will I be celebrating my birthday as we kick Sampdoria’s ass, it’ll most likely be Amauri’s last home-game in La Favorita. And he wants to say goodbye as a captain. The only problem is: our actual captain, Barzagli, is leaving too. So, they’ll need to battle it out amongst themselves. I say give Amauri the captain’s band. He’s given everything to the team, while Barzagli never cared about it.

On the Amauri to Juve thing: seems like not all is settled yet. Zampa already said that the deal is done for 98%, but don’t be too sure about that. This is what Rino Foschi had to say:

“We have asked for Claudio Marchisio, Antonio Nocerino, Giovinco, and Davide Lanzafame in return. If Juventus doesn’t agree, it will make negotiations a lot harder.”

Nocerino has already agreed to a Palermo-transfer if the deal gets sealed, but there’s more. According to the Dutch version of goal.com (yeah, I know, that’s like trusting your butcher’s sister’s cousin’s dogwalker), Amauri wants a 3.75 million euro salary. Juve wants to keep it below 3 million. Maybe Zampa can spend some Mandi-money. Milan is willing to cough up the extra money, and Juventus would let Amauri go to the rossoneri in exchange for Gilardino. Rotten deal, if you ask me.

According to Lorenzo, Man Shitty would be prepared to give 6 million euro in exchange for Bresciano. I can’t find any articles that can prove this, but if so: ship off the Ozzy! Zacc’s 7 (there’s even been talk of 9 million) + Bresciano’s 6 + Barzagli’s money…damn, we could get at least two studs for that.

And talking about those studs: how about this one? Diego Milito, former Genoa-striker, could be going to Napoli. Why not try and snatch him away from Zaragoza in front of their noses? Maybe we’re not a big enough club for those guys. At least, that’s what Espanyol-defender Zabaleta said. So, mister Big Shot Argentine, where did your club end up in the standings this year?

And then there’s this guy:

OGC Nice-keeper Hugo Lloris is being followed by a couple of Italian teams, including Palermo. The kid is young, secure, capped as a U21 for France and an unbelievable talent. Would be nice to het him on board.

Harry Kewell is destined to leave Liverpool. I think he’d be better suited to Serie A calcio. When he’s fit, a great player with plenty of heart. Worth considering don’t you think Mr Zamparini?

If Amauri stays well be stacked, De Melo, Miccoli, and the sale of Zaccardo and Brarzagli well has about 16 million then we sell Bresciano and Simplicio for about 13 million. Well have about 30 million to spend on defense and offense i think that will be enough to build a team around Amauri the Gol scorer and Miccoli the magician.

P.S. Ricci Nocerino looks like he has some skills and he likes to kiss the ball and anything to Guana out of Palermo

i do’nt want to think about it, too good to be true, though i would be in love with zamps and foschi adn secco if it were true. Also Simplicio is supposedly going to milan for pozzi, abate, and canini, another sweet deal for us.

Holy shit, if that Simplicio-deal would become real, we’re ready for next season. Pozzi was (together with Giovinco) the only decent player at Empoli and Canini could solve all our defensive problems.

the two deals though seem too good to be true, so i do not want to get my hopes up. time will tell what happens, we can only wait and hope and pray.

i havent read anything about Giovinco, ricci.
Colin - that deal sounds way too good for us to be real. That’s GOT to be made up. I saw it on TMW but, seriously? Milan would give up Canini + 2 others for Simplicio!? Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy, but I think we’d be getting a STEAL if that were to happen (not that I’m complaining about it!). Besides, he had a press conference today and said he was 100% staying at the Renzo next year….

you are probably right it sounds too good to be true, as does giovinco, but you never know, milan doesn’t value its youth the way it should these days.

by the way happy bday steve, saw it on facebook.

For all Zamp craziness him and Foschi are good negotiators they have Juve and Milan eating out of there hands for Amauri. I def think that we will get the 3 players we want from Juve because of Milan’s new push to get him. Im sure Giovinco wouldnt mind coming to his fathers home land to play for a few years

So Milan is “pressing” for Amauri according to latest reports. They’re offering a couple players including possibly Boriello…however, they have to convince Palermo to agree to anything.

Foggia has apparently re-entered Palermo’s plans as they are looking to negotiate to get him in rosanero.

Beh, Kewell’s an Aussie. Remember our other one? Milan is never gonna throw in Borriello, and I can’t imagine him wanting to play for us either. But it would be sweet though. I’d prefer the full cartellino of Borriello, Pozzi and Canini over anything Juve has to offer.
