The Prodigal Son Returns

By: Steven | June 19th, 2008

After short spells at Genoa and Torino, Cesare Bovo is a Palermitano again. Three million go to Genoa, and there’s more: not only do we gain a great defender, we also got rid of Giuseppe Biava! D’Artagnan has signed a two-year contract with the Grifoni. Welcom back, Cesare, you big hunk of man-meat!

can’t we just pay a serie C team a few million to take care of Guana?

I don’t understand why we don’t give him to Fiorentina. This way we take some of there money and make them considerably worse.

Guana’s not interested in the CL because he’s counting down the days until someone realizes he can’t actually play ball one bit and they send him to a tiny Bulgarian town for 2 donkeys and a small child.

I have to admit, the name Bobby Guana makes me hate him 300X more

LOL…the one REDEEMING quality about Guana is the fact that he is attached to the shirt and is overall a good guy. Too bad that doesn’t translate into skill on the pitch…

Here’s a question for you guys…who would you rather have? Carracciolo or Guana?

I think i just threw up in my mouth a little…

Fine, if Capuano wants to ride the pine all season, that’s ok. Anyone and their mother will have dibs on a spot over him.

Capuano needs to be cleaning up roadkill somewhere in Calabria, not playing Serie A calcio. Get him out, put a youth player in his place.

I think I’d rather have Guana. At least he is ok at winning the ball. Crapacciolo was good at nothing, I even remember the Scottish announcer on FSC calling him a Serie C player.

Pfff…tuff one. I’m going for Guana, even if that sounds crazy. Caracciolo was all talk, no walk. And some really bad hair.

They should really just be combined into one person, Guaracciolo. Even if you took both players’ and combined their skills, it equals one Serie D fringe squad player.

i rather Caracciolo cause dude can atleast put the ball in the net once ever 20 games. And he sees the ball less unlike guana who think he is Pirlo+Gattuso. The best thing about Guana Wikipedia was that some one compared him to Makelele.

do you remember them kids at school that couldnt do PE? You had a few geeks, who actually were completly unable to even run normally, and when it came to football they swung their leg at the ball blindly and did nothing? I think guana was a member of this crew. I could play center midfield for palermo better. And id play with passion. Miggs for captain?

You’ve got as good a guess as I do. But despite Goal.com reporting we sold you guys co-ownership, looks like it never happened. Juventus’s official website says he’s returning (in full) from Bari to Juventus.

Agreed. Some Juventini think he’ll play for us next year, I don’t think so. Still 2 months for co-ownership/loans.

There’s some really weird stuff going on (even for Serie A).

On Tuesday night, Cagliari announced on their official website that they and Inter had extended Acquafresca’s comproprieta for another year, and on Wednesday afternoon they sold their half of his registration to Inter for 5 million.

If it really was only for 350K, then it’s up there.

But I have difficulty believing that was the entire deal. The resolution of a lot of comproprieta deals is about as transparent as the Ka’bah in Mecca.
