RIP Gianni De Rosa

By: Steven | August 4th, 2008

Most of you won’t know Gianni De Rosa (neither did I until I bought the Palermo Panini-book a couple of months ago), but he was one of our attackers from ‘81 until ‘83, in Serie B. He scored 29 goals in 62 games, winning the Capocannoniere-title in ‘81. De Rosa died two days ago near Rimini after a road accident, when his motorbike was hit by a bus. He was only 51 years old. Rest in peace, Gianni.

Im happy that Palermo is finally bring back and keeping there loaned players. I really wanna see what Dellafiore Bovo and Ciaramitaro have.

Have you guys checked out the new prima squadra player profile photos on ilpalermocalcio.it?

I don’t know much about Samuele Romeo, but I think we can ordain him the new Emotino or rather Samuele Ro-emo!

And Simplicio looks EXACTLY like Wayne Brady!!

Just for fun … Can you guys pick any other look-alikes?
