I dont think he’s as bad as everybody made him out to be. I think he is making the right decisions in the squad he giving the young players a chance but still respecting the regulars.

Me thinks Italy would definitely have better chance having success in EURO2008 with a better ct. Donadoni is pretty incompetent coach, especially given the amount and quality of high class talents he can work with. Fielding 3 defensive midfielders together, wth?

ricci – i caught that. once again, c.ronaldo proves that he never steps up against bigger teams (whether it’s national team or clubs). pirlo, what can you say about the guy…he’s all class. plus, that first goal was unjustly taken away – he chested it down.

as for palladino, the gk actually got a hand to it and then it hit the crossbar – so, he was very very close to gettin a goal. unlucky. i would like to see amauri sent to juve for palladino + cash. kid is versatile.

Barzagli was good today, I just watched the game on DVR. Cristiano did nothing except make Cannavaro look terrible on 1 dribble. Did anyone happen to catch Palladino take it down on his chest and smash a left footed volley off the crossbar? I think he drifted in and out, but looked dangerous overall. When we sell Amauri we should get some young talent like him or Giovinco.

btw, Pirlo = unreal for the NT. He just makes entire teams look silly.

Italy was definitely impressive today. C.Ronaldo got OWNED the WHOLE game. I mean, Barzagli wasn’t half bad for the amount of time he was on the field, either!

Hopefully the goal in front of 50,000 Aussie fans will lift his spirits so that we again can see the Mark Bresciano of old doing great things for Palermo!

I recently just sold Guana in football manager for a cool 8mil to Sampdoria. How do ppl rate this guy? He can’t move 4 steps consecutively without making himself look bad. Corini made him look like the second coming of Makelele last year.

Lorenzo and ricci – Good to know I’m not the only one who thinks Guidolin (and Colantuono) are idiots for leaving Jankovic out. Everytime I’ve seen him play for Serbia (which is only 3-4 times) he has throroughly impressed me. What’s really dumb about the situation is that if they don’t like the kid all they have done is driven his price down if they are going to sell him and are going to take a net loss. So not only is it stupid tactically on the field, its just dumb business as well.

I do feel pretty confident against Torino though since they have basically taken all of our cast-offs. Rosina is always a threat though and I have a feeling Corini is going to make Guana his bitch, not that that is hard to do…
