Left Side, Not So Strong Side

By: Steven | October 17th, 2009

So, visiting Livorno. I’m scared. Why? Livorno has 3 points, no wins, 1 goal for and 8 goals against. They need a win. And we all know that: a) small teams in crisis end their crisis against us and b) we don’t do ’small teams’. I can only remember two good games, last year at home against Chievo and Lecce. The rest: loss to Torino, tie Bari, tie Reggina, double loss to Catania…see, there’s a reason to be scared.

Good thing is: Zenga’s going for an all out attack, with a 3-4-1-2. So we’re not gonna sit back and let Livorno make the play.

Probable formation:

PALERMO (3-4-1-2): Sirigu; Kjaer, Bovo, Migliaccio; Cassani, Bresciano, Simplicio, Balzaretti; Pastore; Cavani, Miccoli.
A disposizione: Rubinho, Goian, Blasi, Morganella, Nocerino, Budan, Succi.
All.: Zenga
Indisponibili: Liverani, Tedesco , Mchedlidze, Melinte

I’m curious.

Small post, as I’m writing this from my smartphone while at First Look in Amsterdam. I’ll make it up with a big ass review, IF we tear Livorno a new one.

how do they rate players like CAvani, Miccoli,Nocerino, Kjaer??
I hate how they always make Palermo players slower then they are in real life…did they make us good enough this year to play against the bigger teams semi successfully or are we slow as shit again?

i remember that the year after amauri’s break-out year they only had him as an 81. once he moved to juve, his value suddenly vaulted to 85. then last year they had cavani as, like, a 74. ouch

also, does the fact that a player is of english or mexican nationality still mean that his rating increase by 5 pts?

That’s a shame that Palermo are not licensed. Those jerseys need to be on FIFA 10. Though I’m Baresi, I rate the Rosanero maglia top 5 in the world. Pink and black done right

If you guys play online, let me know. I’m always up for a game

too high for Roberto considering he’s a 0 the following categories: shooting, passing, running, walking, breathing, growing hair, and being a human fucking being.

Hi fellas. The team is winning and Zamp is keeping relatively quiet. When Zamp is quiet we’re quiet ;)

So here’s a question… If we achieve our minimum objective of Europa next year, how far do you realistically think we could go with our current squad?

I seem to remember a certain person comparing the Europa Leauge to a Banana. On the supremo’s orders, I dont think we would make it out of the group stage bec/ those Thursday matches would be sacrificed to go for a top 4 spot again.

I told you guys that I’m restarting this thing this weekend. I’m currently combining two jobs, and Zo’s probably busy as fuck too. And as Rob said, there’s just no news. Can’t do a post about Simplicio’s contract renewal every week…

Giuseppe, if you don’t like it, fuck off. I don’t need criticism from a high school kid.

    G, coming up tomorrow.

Steven? You have really gotta calm down, I was just putting that up to start another conversation/debate if I didn’t like the website, then I would have left a long time ago all I was doing was using something called sarcasm?
