Itty Titty Transfer Bitties

By: Steven | July 30th, 2008

First of all, I’m sorry for the lack of updates recently. The reason? A heatwave over Belgium with temperatures around 30-32 celcius. To make it up to you guys, a small transfer round-up.

The big boys at the helm may have said that there are no new players coming in, that doesn’t mean that we have to believe that. It seems like Sabatini and Zamparini (maybe we can call them ZampaSaba from now on) are trying to get rid of everyone who’s not A-material. First in line is our good friend Roberto Guana. The Bald BattyBoy is either leaving for Lazio or Bologna. Good. Let’s hope this is based on something, because I’ve had it with all those rumours about him leaving, without him ever leaving.

Bologna’s not only interested in Guana, they also want Cavani. Loan or buy, they don’t care. We do. A loan we can do, but we ain’t selling. Yet. If Cavani goes, he might be replaced by Giampaolo Pazzini. You know, the kid with the gay hair and the inabillity to score any goals outside of Serie A or Wembley.

And the midfield-exodus continues with rumours of Mark Bresciano moving to Blackburn (no wait, West Ham. Or was it Sunderland? Or Aston Villa? Or Fulham?) and Fabio Caserta to Lecce. The latter would be dearly missed by yours truly, but maybe he just doesn’t really have what it takes to take us to the next level.

Well, that’s all for now. I’m gonna get me some more sunshine and some ribs and steak of the BBQ. I’ll try to update this thing again before next week, as I might be of to the bel paese for a week from tuesday. Ciao!

it is so painful to sit and watch your team make such easily curible mistakes, any one of us could do a better job then our highly paid managment it seems many a time.

Guana’s agent about a possible tranfer to Lazio:
    “It could be done.”

    Zamparini’s response:
    “Guana is not for sale.”

Zampa asked if it could be done if Lazio were to give up Mutarelli for Guana:
“For the love of God, Mutarelli no!”

    ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I too would say no to Mutarelli. Guy isn’t the player 2 years ago which made him get kicked out of his current club.

How many ugly midfielders do we need? What the hell is Zampa’s problem? just get rid of Guana already and this team will blossom like a spring flower.

I wanted Zamparini’s response to be:

“For the love of God, get rid of them both!!!!!!!!!!”

    Meh, not going to happen.

By the way, I just wanted to state that this is an All-Palermitani-blog. Supporting other Serie A-teams will be considered a crime against humanity, and therefore you will be banned from this blog forever. Got that right? That means all you people posing on their facebook by a car wearing an Inter-shirt…watch out!

No, just jokin’. Just letting you know I’m not a Roma-fanboy.

“But you have to agree that last years away kit with the shield on the shirt looks pretty cool with my over-sized muffler, right.”

    j/k

So I read about our loss to a Serie C team, and I start a weekend of throwing up, and other nasty things that makes me think, ‘Welp, just turned 28, had a pretty decent life, yeah, call the priest ma!’ Coincidence? I think not…

dude exactly. The one dude writing for Udinese because the team reminds him of Roma? What a bunch of gypsies. Seriously how you going to write for a team that isn’t even first on your list in the same league no less?!?!?! And then all these riomanostas get pissed when you call them out on it…ridiculous

See, I always thought that the southern towns were infested with Juve supporters. I already loved Sicily, to hear that there are Inter supporters there just makes it that much more appealing.

Can we interest you in a slightly used Honduran forward?

Steven, the fan boys like to sit around and share fairy tales… I just like to give them a dose of reality

Its like me telling them Santa Claus isn’t real. I don’t enjoy doing it, but the mere naiveness of it all eats me alive..These aren’t 6 year old children either

    anyway, back to something important….

I just read Zampa feels that our club isn’t that far off from a top 4 position… Well, I hope he has a Tiago Neves under his sleeve than..

I like our starting lineup, but lets be honest, our bench is paper-thin.. The season is a marathon, not a race, depth is the key
