Di Michele has been verified as sold to Torino for an undisclosed Fee, probably free just to free up some payroll with his impending charges. Also, it’s verified that Juventus have sold Fabrizio Miccolli to Palermo. Miccolli has had Azzurri call ups, and scored 17 GOALS in 55 appearances for BeneficiaBENFICA of Spain Portugal. (I’m an ass, sorry)

So that’s it then right? Seriously Zampa, just quit while we’re ahead. I think all of the loyal fans can agree this is just fine. Not too happy we lost Corini, but you did get rid of Corraciolo and Di Michele. You freed up some payroll made some good acquisitions, now let’s just PLEASE stop before you doing some else that’s disappointing. (like the ever impending departure of Andrea Barzagli)

Notching another international player had me sitting here trying to figure out how many internationals Palermo is currently rocking. Well, here is my list-I will include at the bottom of the list some of the youth international teams for Players that are STILL under 23-

appearances(goals)
Andrea Barzagli - Italy - 13

Cristian Zaccardo - Italy - 16(1)

Aimo Diana- Italy - 13(1)

Brienza - Italy - 2

Fabrizio Miccolli Italy 10(2)

Matusiak - Poland - 8(4)

Jancovik - Serbia - 4(2)

Mark Bresciano - Australia - 33(9)

Edinson Cavani (age20) - Uraguay U20

Dellafiore (age22) - Italy U20/21

Cassani - ItalyU20

Srigu (age20) - Italy U18/19

Cossentino (age18) - Italy U19

Ujkani (age 19) - Albania U21

Zaccardo, Barzagli, and Fabrizio need more playing time.

Marcello- while Barzagli and Zaccardo were regular starters last season, I hope that Barzagli remains on the team to keep playing. If palermo remains with two strikers as they were playing last season, then it will likely be Amauri and one other-who i’m pegging to be Fabrizio right now…

Please get your facts straight with you make mistakes you lose creditbility. Miccolli played from BENFICA the past two seasons not Beneficia. Benfica is the largest sported team in the world passing Manchester United last season and they play out of PORTUGAL not Spain. How would you like it if someone posted that Miccolli was moving to Palmerio of the French League.

I apologize my friend….for the spelling and league mistake, sometimes I start writing early in the morning and get a little brain dead. Hope I didn’t offend you much.

Im a die hard palermo fan, but i hate the fact that we keep fontana, he is a terrible goalkeeper and i think he only has his days of goodwork.
palermo should stop spending money on midfielders we do not need
but im all for stocking up our attacking, Miccolli was a great buy and i hope we dont leave Cavani on the bench
but again with the goal keeping we need to use our money right and get a national level goalkeeper
since palermo is now one of serie A major clubs

I hate having to create contraversy, but I love Fontana. I think he’s great out there, I have seen him make so many outstanding saves….I agree that he is old, so his career will be winding down. Not sure if you knew, but we did sign Ujkani this summer, who is an international U21 Albanian goalie, so i’m hoping that will develop into that international level of goalie your talking about.
