HOLY SH*T!!!
By: Giuseppe | July 26th, 2007
I sure hope enough people read my blog page to get what I’m about to post. I was doing my daily net surfing, and was checking on the AC Milan Page, since they seem to be one of the only Serie A team that also updates their english site. Today, July 26 was the launch of seriea.tv! Those familiar with MLSNET.TV can guess what this is. This year ALL of the Serie A matches, with additional bonus footage will be streamed over the internet. The service costs $89, which seems a little high-but honestly, those of us who try and follow Italian teams in the US know how much of a pain in the ass it is. Especially any teams that aren’t Milan, Inter, or Juve. I know there are ways to watch them already, streams and FSC but this is something I know i’ve been waiting for, and i’m sure i’m not alone. The only thing I don’t know is whether or not this site will offer streaming in English. I’m going to lean towards yes, because the site specific news clips they added were all in English. SERIE A SCHEDULE WILL BE AVAILABLE AUGUST 1.

Every match? For 89 bucks, that’s a bargain. Go for it! If I were a Serie A blogger I’d do it before you can say Jack Robinson.

I was about to freak out because it told me my region was blocked. I was thinking “WHY IS IT IN ENGLISH IF THE US IS BLOCKED?!” Then I remembered — I’m in Portugal. Duh.
Anyone know anything about this company? I read the terms of service, and they very carefully take no blame for any problems with the streams; I hope it’s not just a take-your-money-and-run operation …

I was all happy for about two seconds, then I remembered that by the time Serie A starts up again, I won’t be in the US. But if I were, I’d sign up. $90 for all the games is great.
