Guess Who
By: Steven | September 6th, 2009As my dear friend Mister Barney Stinson would say: ‘What up?’ So I’m back from a well-deserved holiday, and I feel a little sad to take this thing away from Lorenzo again. Thanks for doing a fantastic job, buddy.
Luckily, I’ve been able to remain up to date on all things calcio. Ten things that have been going through my mind for the last couple of days:
1. Dear Torino, may you end up where Spezia and Messina are.
2. Blerim Dzemaili, meet bench. Or so I hope.
3. Zaccardo to Parma for 4 mil. What.The.Fuck.
4. People in Ceausesculand have found a way to acces the internets. Not looking forward to 2020.
5. Our third keeper is our 6th best paid player. Blows my mind.
6. We end up with Blasi. I piss on you, Sabatini.
7. Zenga’s ass is already on the line. Make-or-break time against Bari.
8. Roma goes 476 all over again. I LOL’d.
9. Khaladze wants an Italian passport badly.
10. Amelia’s no longer vice-Buffon. Ha-Ha.

Well Felipe Melo should have been worth 14-15mil, Secco just got screwed, not surprisingly. Cavani is worth I’d guess 16-18mil.

KJ: I know, I know lol. Unfortunately Zampa is not stupid and would ask for at least 3-4 more million and possibly a player as a part exchange. He wouldn’t also be dumb enough to accept Molinaro(maybe if he was free. maybe)
Giro: My bad I didn’t read the entire comment. I was kind of just skimming through what ppl were valuing the 2 players. Agreed about his value being around 25 in 2-3 years if he keeps it up.

This conti kid in our primavera squad scored a brace today in the supercoppa if im Not mistake he has score in 2 other games maybe he should get a run with the first team

don’t see why the old lady would want Cavani when they have the near Italian doppelganger in Vincenzo Iaquinta.

Primavera (who were down to 10 after Adamo’s red card) lost the supercoppa on PK’s v Genoa. Shame.

Last time we did a deal with juve we got lumbered with Overpriced overated Nocerino and well Lanzafame was a joke. Lets not do that again. If we lost Kjaer/Cavani at the same time we have no future again.

I still see a future Corini in Nocerino. Might be naive, but I have faith in the kid.

Cavani would be much easier to replace then Kjaer…if we got 20 mil for him i would be very happy

Lanzafame is tearing it up at Parma.

i honestly cant see nocerino in the same light as corini regardng palermo. he was insanely good for you guys!
if blasi plays well and when liverani is at full health i could see antonio losing his place unless he picks it out bigtime. i think marino is still interested and maybe kj is right
“I do see this as the exit of Nocerino (to Napoli) at the end of the season. I like Nocerino and hope this inclination doesn’t become a reality.”
its a strange one with nocerino, he isnt the best player but people seem to really like him?

Two things alex.
1. I doubt Nocerino is going anywhere close to Napoli unless it is to help his momma and poppa with clearing out the trash in front of there house.
2. Blasi and Nocerino can play together. What other midfielders do we have that will displace either of them.

bertolo for one giro. bertolo-liverani-blasi you have a box to box player, a regista and a ball winner
who knows maybe he would want to join napoli because they actually have realistic targets and not some bloke called coach Z who has never took a team to the europa league never mind the champions league!

Oh, and Donadonadini has? Sure, he once had Livorno placed sixth halfway through the season before getting sacked, but prizes get dealt out after 38 games, not 19. You talk an awful lot of shit, Alex. Blasi has everything to prove, who ever said he’s guaranteed a starting spot? Just like Bertolo, and Hummus when he returns. For all you know, he’s going the same route as Savini.
And just where would Nocerino fit in into Napoli’s midfield? Not much space either, huh?
I like your enthusiasm, but lately all you can contribute is about Napoli and Palermo-players definitely going to Napoli at the end of the season. There’s a place for such comments, and it sure isn’t the Palermo Offside.

Same thing i was thinking Steven, Donadoni isnt that much more experienced then Coach Z. Guy’s a natural loser when it comes to coach to be quite honest.

Oh and btw Alex I think if Napoli dont make the CL with in the next two years I see them falling out of Serie A and quick with the amount of over spending Marino and Dela have done this offseason

the only player ive mentioned that should join napoli is nocerino, the only reason i brought it up is because you said antonio is a possible corini (and i talk shit?) and when blasi joined you lot, kj mentioned it on the napoli board. maybe he wont join napoli but i doubt he will be at palermo for long

i doubt it giro, dela spent that money because he knows the further up the table you are the more money you get from this new tv deal. plus it was a planned budget that he set out 5 years ago and now the team has entered the next 5 year stage of his plan

i agree with you about donadoni though i cant see him in charge next season. personally i dont rate zenga or donadoni that highly i doubt either of them can get napoli or palermo in the champions league

you know, someone asked me what naples was like one time. i told him it was like sicily without he charm and a bunch of grabage in the streets. that being said, though, i’m sure that i speak for many contributors to this blog when i say that we often support napoli almost every time they play…so long as that opponent is not palermo. alex, man, dont come on here and bash us, please. mutual support

Without Hamsik Napoli is a sunk boat so they better hope that nn of the “Big” clubs go for him…ATTENZIONE NAPOLI

Hey random question, do any of you know what team Grosso supports? I’m curious, I know he was born in Rome but grew up in Abruzzo, and I can’t think of any teams there.

Ye i got to say im also one of those who goes for Napoli when they play as long as it isnt against us .. guess its the souther soft spot .. the 2 clubs have a history of being pretty close .. supporters included.
I dont think nocerino will be here much longer .. for his price he hasnt done much at all .. the sad thing is we will probablly give him away on a co ownership or some crappy deal and then he will have a good season.
I guess the reason lanzafame is playing well is because they actually play him and dont limit him to 5 mins at the end of an away game while we are 3-0 down to impress?
I keep seeing these articles about kjaer having a 12 million release clause but i totally remember a thing on gazetta saying he signed a new deal that removed the clause and imrpoved his wages. I know him and his gf love sicily .. i can see him here this season and next atleast .. if we dont progress though he will go.
I love cavani .. i love his work rate and enthusiasm … we have him as a raw talent because he still misses some easy chances .. he is going to turn into something top notch once he matures and perfects his finishing. I wouldnt want to lose him … but i would say if giovinco was part of the offer then we have our young magic midget replacement for miccoli in the future. He will only rot away at juve which is a waste for Italia.
