I was also incorrect about Palermo’s first game being against Lecce on the 29th…do have sympathy-you have NO idea how much time i’ve spent looking for a pre-season schedule, any way to watch these games, or 2008 KITS. Anyhow, Palermo had their first friendly against Austrian side Nockberge, and they won 15-0!
The first half had the following goals:
Ciaramitaro 1
Matteini 2
Miglaccio 1
Barzagli 1
Brienza 1 = 6
The Second half the following onslaught ensued:
Diana 2
Jankovic 2
Miccoli 3
Zaccardo 1 = 8
It seems the only real competition out on the pitch was which player on the Palermo squad could notch the most goals-and in THAT case Micolli’s hat trick takes it. Welcome to the team.
Also, Wedsday is Palermo’s next friendly against another Austrian Team FC Kaernten.
