First Post. Yay?
By: Rose | March 7th, 2007Hi, I’m Rose, and I’ll be bringing you all the crazy news from the most Southern province of Italy: US Città di Palermo. Having been able to keep a top 3 position all season long in Serie A, the boys were off to a top season.
And then, this happened.
After having won their first game of the new year, the boys slid. Loosing their 9 point cushion. With Lazio now 2 points behind them, challenging them for fird 3rd, and with Milan, Fiorentina and just about anyone else within a 5 point gap, going for Champions, it’s time for the boys to kick it up. Sure, they’ve slid, but coming from last Sunday’s first-half performance [I'm trying to not think of the ref, thanks], they seem to be out of their funk.
With Corini, Capuano and Amauri out, Caracciolo banned for two games, a tired Simplicio, a still-too-new Pole Boi Matusiak, Brienza will most likely be partnering up with Di Michele once again for the match against Fiorentina.
When I can gain more Zamparini-like powers, I’ll let you know what I think will happen. Right now, let’s watch the clips from the Andata.
Points of Interests: Amauri’s dance after his first goal, Zaccardo’s backside in white shorts, Fiorentina president having a freakout in the stands after a failed attempt, the shirt tugging and ample skin after Amauri’s 2nd and winning goal, and a very excited Guidolin.
Hey boys, do that again, okay?

Wheee, Palermo blog!
I wish that a near-miracle would happen and that the Pinkies would become the Serie A champs. *kicks Inter down*
Amauri needs to dance again.

I LOLD!Oh gosh I would probably cry tears of molten joy for a repeat of that. Sans Barzagli OG, naturally
O no!. Gah, I’m still convinced that when they fall into a rhythm with each other, Di Michele and Matusiak will be a ton of fun to watch together. Why can’t that happen…tomorrow!?? Such. Anxiety. About this game. Quarto posto? Somehow I think that that mantra is SRSLY expired.…Backside? Point well taken!

Peter, welcome! I will be doing some backhistory on the team, so I hope you’ll enjoy it!
Trent, thank you!
Marcello, it’s not every team that comes out of Serie B and is able to finish in the UEFA cup the following season, repeatedly. These boys deserve to be blogged!
Besty, gosh, wouldn’t that just be amazing?
Martha, we are going to rock this place. You cover the WAGs, and I’ll cover the boys that like to take their shirts off, okay?
Stef, soon, the entire world will know our crack.
