I think we have to give Zenga until the Winter Market to prove his worth and if we’re not looking at about 5-6th place he’s gotta go…I also wanna see D’Agostino in our Midfield maybe for Simplicio and some cash?

just in case you didn’t notice KJ, only 3 weeks and looks like your pinkies are below Roma in the charts. sucks to suck.

for everyone else, i am actually sorry you didn’t win today. i actually like Palermo alright, just not KJ.

So, ndcolin, who do you think is doing a worse job at the moment: Zenga or that morbidly-obese bag of gas who coaches your Fritterin’ Irish?

Actually, not a fair question: Zenga’s only floundering in his first season with Palermo, whereas El Rotundo has been flopping for years now.

If Fatso had any integrity and loved his alma mater as much as he claims he does, he’d simply quit and let ND off the hook for the $18 million they still owe him (as Spaletti did at Roma). But, like Lou Holtz before him, “integrity” and “loyalty” are just more hot air from that Gasbag, to be expected only from others.

PS How great is it that the ND football coach is paid 3x as much per year as the president of Yale?

    Sandro:

Charlie really needs to go. Zenga is just “on notice” to me. But given that Zampa is a little more volatile than Fr Jenkins (ND President), it wouldn’t surprise me to see Z go before Mr Genius.

And btw, Urban Meyer, Pete Carroll and Nick Saban all have higher salaries than Weis

Yes, but Meyer, Carroll and Saban are all basically coaching professional teams with only the most attenuated connection to anything resembling academics or higher education… (I once spoke to an old USC alum who was there at the same time as OJ who said that a sighting of OJ anywhere in the vicinity of a classroom was about as rare as the appearance of Haley’s comet.)

We’re about to witness another “project” go down the tubes only a couple months into the season.

    Ridiculous.

I cant wait for this season to be over already another year out of Europe. If Zenga is fired the next likely manager will probably be Delio Rossi. If we got lucky maybe Spalletti. Why did we ever part with Ballardini?

Ballardini is doing an awful job at lazio and he bummed succi. Lets face it every year we extend the contracts of players who arent good enough or dont care enough because they have it easy. Bresciano, Simplicio, Succi, Budan should have all been out the door over summer… Blasi shouldnt have been signed … miccoli is fading into nothing fast .. The only players that never piss me off is migliaccio, cavani and balzaretti because they give 100% every single game from back to front. The rest are lazy or error prone … kjaers devalued himself in recent weeks. Still good but i dunno wtf going on .. i give up expecting anything from this team.
