Buon Natale a Tutti!

By: Steven | December 24th, 2008

Boys and girls, enjoy the turkey and the unwrapping of the presents. I’ll be back with transfer rumours soon. After I get rid of the upcoming champagne hangover, that is.

AllaaaaaaahhhhH!!! The first of Muharram is coming my friends! I hope Father Zampa brings my brother Abdoulay Konko to Palermo to commemorate this joyous event! My wife will cook him entire plate of Gashaato!

May your camel’s droppings be hard and clean in this holiday season!

Liverani’s on holiday in is home land, I heard. He rented a small boat, and his friend bought a rocket launcher. They have been last spotted near a 300 meter tanker in the gulf of Aden.

    HAHAHAHAHA. Priceless commentary Steven.

Guys I’m off to Europe. First stop is England where I plan to run on to the pitch at Old Trafford and go studs up on Cron. Wish me luck. Cheers.

Well, it didn’t take long, but the mercato is already active for Palermo…

Unfortunately, it’s Lanzafame. He’s heading back to Bari. He’ll be heading there on Sunday to meet up with his teammates.

if balla isn’t going to use lanza, he might as well get some pt elsewhere. i’m afraid this may mean we’ll never see him in a rosanero shirt again. wouldn’t be surprised if we sold our half of the ownwership

Giovanni – who knows…Zampa once again stated we’re not getting Pazzini. He’s pretty set on the Miccoli-Cavani partnership.

Unfortunately I also think we won’t see Lanzafame in rosanero again…

Pazzini is heavily linked with Everton and Zamparini allready spoke badly of him so i say we are safe from that big mistake.

Lanzafame gone back to Bari until the end of the season.

Raggi will apparently leave on loan most likely for sampdoria so he can prove he is worthy of another chance at palermo according to his agent.

Torino are having wet dreams over Dellafiore .. who knows why.

Guana hasnt been linked to anyone btu i hope he goes away.

Havent seen us linked with any player so far.

The one thing that I WILL give Raggi is the fact that he doesn’t want to leave Palermo b/c he wants to show his worth. He said that if he does leave, he wants it to be on loan so that he can come back to Palermo and show he can play.

Micciche’ said don’t get your hopes up on a “big signing” as that most likely will not happen. They don’t want to mess with the starters.

9 mil for pazzini would be a serious waste. we could get two competent midfielders for that fee

we also have no real wide players, we should spring for abate of torino great little player. and if we don’t get player who will jump into the starting lineup we better get someone like pulzetti who can at least give cover and competition to the mids.

Apparently Migliaccio and Guana are 2 of our midfielders who will be going nowhere however Tedesco, Di Matteo and Ciaramitaro should be on their way along with Fontana. Good news Tedesco will finally go but Guana stays :(

Pazzini is not worth what they want for him .. nowhere near. Dont we ever learn .. Carraciolo wasnt worth 5 million, makinwa wasnt worth 5 million and pazzini is in no way worth 9-10 million.

    Get to work sabatini.. Va

good news, though, is raggi is all but gone. bad news is that it’ll only be a loan…

maybe he’ll play a little better with his new team and they’ll buy out his contract for a higher price than what he would go for now. but i have a feling he’d ride the pine and diminish what little mercato value he has
