Benvenuto Marco!

By: Steven | June 5th, 2008

So, the Transfersoap That Would Not End has ended. After two + years of sucking his dick, licking his ass and throwing him money, Marco Amelia has finnaly agreed on a transfer to Palermo. Six mil go to Livorno, Marco comes to us for four years and a 1 mil a year salary. Jimmy, you’ve been good to us for years and I hope Zampa will remember you for a job when you retire, but the heir to the throne has arrived.

Thats a good idea get the guy more experience. I think Cani need some experience also he is supposed to be a very good striker in the future. Whats going one with all our loan players is any one coming back? What about Mariano González are we gonna bring him back?

I thought the Gazzetta was bad, then I read Goal.com. I thought it was bad, then I read Tribal Football. Now you’re citing Wikipedia….c’mon!

i still think we need a little more flair and creativity in wide areas. We have jankovic and caserta for out wide, is marchioni available?

I’m just kidding Giro, just kidding. Season’s over so no reasons for flame wars.

Fozz, Marchionni is almost certain to leave this summer. Shame, cause I think we need him as cover for Camoranesi.

We tracked Marchionni last year and early on in the Amauri deal his name was thrown around as one of the possible players but nothing ever came of it.

I don’t see Caserta as one of the guys who is as creative. However, i think we’re good with creativity by having Bosko AND now Lanzafame. Remember, this kid has been dubbed the “Italian Cristiano Ronaldo” (without the horrendous diving, haircut and ego, of course).

Zamparini has said he’ll be content with one of either Carrozzieri or Loria and then getting rid of at least one person in the midfield (PLEASE let it be Guana).

I hope all of you were able to see Rinaudo’s addio on stadionews. if i can find a vid to embed, i’ll post it. Definitely puts a lump in your throat watching Rinaudo tear up about leaving Palermo. argh…still disgruntled about sending him away.

Yea I just a video of Tedesco saying bye and Rinaudo looked very emotional. It got to me. Plus he looks huge sitting next to Tedesco! GL to him atleast he’ll have a fellow Palermitiano at Napoli.

Lanzafame is pretty versatile that’s why he draws the comparison to C-Fag (as i like to call Ronaldo). He can be a winger/striker…

Nonetheless, Foschi & Co. must really see something in Floccari if they’re willing to invest that kinda bread on him.

    here you go giro….
“He is a good player and we would be very happy to welcome him here,” Colantuono told Rgs. “Like all the other players who have been brought in he is very motivated and happy to join this project.

“Last year he did very well and he has such great potential. Furthermore he is very versatile and can cover a number of positions.

“I’m happy with the way the club is moving in the market and the way we have beaten several other clubs to players.”
