Amauri joins Rubentini, Palermitan Hearts break
By: Steven | April 10th, 2008
It’s over people, the man is joining Juventus. Palermo and Juventus have agreed a provisional deal for the transfer of Amauri, according to the Corriere dello Sport. We all knew he wasn’t gonna stay, but it hurts that he’s gonna join those a-holes up north.
But, there’s good news as well. Rubentus is gonna wire transfer about 14 million euros + Azzurrini midfielder Antonio Nocerino and former Parma winger Marco Marchionni. Not as good as Giovinco and De Ceglie, but a sweet deal anyways. Domenico Criscito might also be included in the deal.
Nappy, I’ll miss you man, I really will…

What happened to Viviano?

Viviano is a Milan target, we can never get him in that case. i’d love for him to come to Palermo, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen. Maybe we could get Rimini’s Consigli?
And if Uncle Fester is gonna offer one of those, he can stick that transfer up his arse.
On a side note: Nono Tedesco has signed a new contract until 2009.

Hey I know we already have Miggy in the mid, but imagine….close your eyes now, a midfield withOUT Guana…besides I like Nocerino. But I agree, this deal blows..

Yeh I agree, Criscito >>>> Bovo any day of the week.
I agree with Giovanni. Nocerino will probably be included in any deal. I don’t mind this at all. In the right lineup he can be a devastating player. With regular play he could be a top defensive midfielder in a few seasons. I love Migliaccio like you guys but the way that football formations are going, you almost need to play with 2 midfielders who can win the ball. Fullbacks are becoming more attacking oriented, and the DMids need to cover that space. Also the defense of our other midfielders is inconsistent at best. Plus, what happens if Migliaccio gets hurt? Guana? FUCK NO

Storari = not bad

Hopefully that contract Nonno signed includes a clause that says he’s not actually playing for Palermo, just cooking breakfast for the team everyday

Uncle Fester after Viviano? Nah. Viviano is neither over 30, Brazilian, big name, nor washed-out enough for Milan.

Ricci, Storari sucked at fuckin’ Levante. Plus, he’s a Messina-boy. Don’t need those around. I’m still saying we should get De Sanctis.

the deal could be worse. Nocerino is a very good cm/dm a good fighter and good heart i like him a lot. Marchionni i am not so sold on, but we do need some good wide players. Now lets pick up Foggia, Canini, and Calaio.

Either way I see it, I think it was the wrong move before the end of season. We need all the goals we can get. I knew Amauri was gonna leave, I just didn’t expect it so soon.

Yeah I agree, Anthony. Why so haste?

now get rid of that cancer we call il capitano

Yeah, Colin, i want Caliao to come home too. Unfortunately, we missed our opportunity to get him cheap

well, so far, this is only a story…it’s not official, it’s not a done deal. La Gazzetta, Stadionews and (obviously) the team site all make no mention of this supposed agreement.
we all know Amauri is as good as gone…but nobody can say for sure that a deal has been reached and if it has, that it wont be cancelled if another better one comes along.

Also, according to Zampa, Capitano FaFu’s next destination is likely to be Fiorentina. Hmm. How ’bout we exchange him with that Swiss kid?

I swear to God, this whole world is full of undecided sissies.
Earlier today, I ask a girl out, who says, ‘Yea, I’d love to go out, but I’m seeing someone, but I’ll see you.’ Then this.
I’m telling you, everyone wants to see me stroke out.

Hehe, poor guy. Whatever’s true of the Amauri-story, it won’t be with Marchionni. Gazzetta’s saying he doesn’t want to play for Palermo. Ho-mo.

It’s gonna be a problem getting players to come here. I love Zampa but he’s too outspoken and these players today are too soft to take any criticism. Plus we can’t offer any Euro ball so it may not be a great mercato season for us. I’d like to see us get another solid defender, Criscito would be perfect. We definitely need another few midfielders, and let’s hope we can keep Jankovic. Get rid of Agliardi and get a solid goalkeeper as well. I think any deal that includes Amauri going to Juventus will see Nocerino coming the other way, which means goodbye Guana, go play hockey or something.

Kat, which Swiss kid are you talking about? Kuzmanovic? I don’t think Fiorentina will let him leave, and I don’t think he’ll want to play for Palermo seeing as how he starts for Fiorentina and they’ll be playing CL ball next season. That would be a great swap though. Barzagli needs to just get the hell out of here already, go get raped in the showers by Liverani.

Haha that last sentence is pure gold.
Shees, thanks a bunch Guido. I hope Colan and boys pull everything out of their asses and somehow grab the intertoto spot.Posted from

Intertoto is more of a possibility I think. Anybody see that Bayern Monaco - Getafe game yesterday? SICK!

I wonder if Zampa will even enter the Intertoto. It’s a great opportunity, just look at what Samp did.
