All Was Quiet On The Western Front

By: Steven | October 20th, 2008

Just when you think he has learned his lesson, the Big Man decides to go on a rant again.

“For three players to be sent off against Catania in seven games shows that they are using sly tactics and Walter Zenga’s cunning outdid our Coach.

“I’m worried by Catania’s school of thought because trying to wind up your opponents is an attitude that I consider unsporting.”

Come on Zampa, you’re the master of Psychological Warfare. Don’t be a hypocrite, and give them credit for mentally outplaying us.

We should get Fred look at what he did today. Score a brace!

HDF-Raggi partnership has never been tested, plus Raggi’s principal playing position is RB. It’s a gamble. And Amelia hasn’t exactly been a wall of confidence back there. If I were to go into the match feeling insecure about the backline, then at least let me have sense of relief regarding the rear-end.

Good news flooding in: Massimo Gobbi is injured thus could skip Palermo. Vargas could be dangerous going forward but guy doesn’t know how to defend.

raggi cant play at centerback, the guy is a bad right back who we paid too much money for because he has determination and zampa was going wild for the most determined shit players at all the shit teams in the league. Id rather see della and kjaer play their part, kjaer was AWESOME against wolfsburg preseason, chuck the lad in the deep end against a rejuvenated gila and see how he takes it. We have to stick faith with amelia, this is a whole new club and city and he isnt going to be god instantly, but remember good the guy can be when he does play well, he can be the second best keeper in the league (only to gigi himself) the game on the weekend upset me, but once moris had seen red, lets be honest, it was only going one way. But one thing i dont understand, is WHY THE FUCK IS TEDESCO IN OUR FUCKING TEAM?! he may be a local palermo lad, but he IS FUCKING TERRIBLE AND OLD AND SHIT.

No more worries about Milan competing for a CL-spot now, they just signed Beckham on a 6 month loan from january. And we all thought they couldn’t sink any lower after the Ronaldo/Sheva/Ronaldino-debacle…hehehe.

Beckham is a good signing for them. Raise publicity for them and get them more cash, I don’t think he will cost anything because it is a loan or something, and all he will do is take Emerson’s place as the useless sub at the end of the game. All in all a smart piece of business.

hes slow but hes still a world class dead ball specialist and can cross better than pretty much anyone. although he has sold his soul i hear he is selling beckham brand microwaveable meals?! although i would love to see him in our midfield instead of liverani he would look bello in roseanero!

he is still a good player if the team can carry him. For us he would not be that good becuase we need everybody to fight hard, but he would be better then Liverani though it is a moot point. For Milan i think he will play as a sub or replacement for Pirlo when he is tired or injured, and in that role he could be pretty good. He is overrated and overadvertised and all that is true, but he can still pass a ball and take free kicks with the best of them.

I dont think Amelia has been that bad, sitting in Livorno again all last season must have been a drain on his brain but it isnt like he has made any huge mistakes for us. 500 STEPS up from Butterfingers Agliardi .. plus he has been good for Italy so im not worried. Like I said about Raggi also I know he had a bad game but 1 game? surely we cant lay into him from 1 bad game .. Simplicio and Bresciano had 30 bad games last year and look how good they are now. The baldy needs another chance. I like the thought of using Kjaer though .. he is supposed to be something special. Looks like missing out on UEFA cup this year and going out of coppa was a blessing in disguis because we still dont have enough depth in our squad. I agree about Tedesco … he has no place even on the bench allthough if Ballardini keeps picking him over Guana I have no complaints lol. Ciao!

but it isnt like he has made any huge mistakes for us.

A goalie’s mistake usually directly leads to the opponent’s goal, so for a goalie minor error is not a minor error. Amelia is making such error in almost every match he has played, and in more than one occasion it ended up fatal to us. Having him in the goal is like coming in to the game with 1 goal down.

“This is not the player I know. The Nocerino I know is one who has the ability to take charge of, and control the midfield.”

“He definitely is not yet at one hundred percent with Palermo, but come the end of the year, I expect him to be at his best,” he added.

“I expect much more from him in the coming weeks, and if I was to examine his performances so far, I would say that we are seeing a Nocerino at 30 percent of his ability.”

He really is doing all he can to unsettle the team…

Typical fun-loving Zampa. Big Boss can’t bear the sight of serenity and peaceful atmosphere in his societa’ so he has to stir up the shit somehow.

I agree with Zampa on the fact that Nocerino can still do a lot better than what he’s showing now. But it’s not as bad as he says, and it sure ain’t the right way to communicate something like that.

his passing needs improving but hes been good at tackling and putting players under pressure. and of course he runs for fun, but zampa really needs to keep his mouth shut this is what fucks everything up for us i wish he would just keep quiet! singling out players isnt right!

Zamp def needs to keep his mouth shut! Were not going undefeated and if he acts this way everytime we lose the players/coaches are going to quit on him. No wonder why we have to pay alot for average players. Cause who fuck wants to play for these raging idiot!
