Arbitri, Voi Siete Ladri…
By: Steven | December 8th, 2008
Just like Maurizio, I’m tired of the way we get fucked out of the European race. I think I’ve said this about four or five times already, but we’re still only three points from Europe. If we had won every game where I had to say this afterwards, we’d be battling Inter and Milan. Now, we’re tied with Cagliari and about to be passed by Siena. I hope someone shoots ref Banti in the face.

Guys I don’t know about you all but I’m over it we got robbed but that happens to every team during the season. We should have put more then one goal in any ways vs. A team like Cagliari. It only our fault we’ve been shooting ourselves in the foot over and over this season.
As for where Nilmar fits in our system is easy along side Miccoli ahead of cavani.. Or done way have all 3 play together.. Just think how many of cavani’s missed goals have come back to haunt us. I think he has a future but for the present i would like to see him as a super-sub.

We’ve been getting fucked all season. Sick and tired of it. Something’s gotta happen. I don’t expect anything to happen but the Miccoli suspension really put me over the edge.

what i have found is that it is like this in england the supposed smaller teams get treated like merda. it is worse in italia maybe, although in england it is just swept under rug like all its other problems. the miccoli suspension is a complete joke

Giro – the problem is that this hasn’t been a one time thing. It’s now happened several times over the course of the year. Let’s see, Catania, Fiorentina, Torino, Inter, Milan and now Cagliari. That’s six times this season that a horrible call has seriously affected the outcome of the game. I hate pointing fingers too, but the two match ban on Miccoli is equivalent (and even worse than) to the two match ban on Nocerino – and don’t forget that Bovo was also given a yellow card AND fined AFTER the game on Sunday. What other team in Serie A has been penalized this much over the course of this current season? I mean, the only reason why Milan is sitting where they are is due to bad officiating! Come on…it’s just getting ridiculous…and I’m pissed about it. And I think we all have every right to be.

i thought that a player can no recieve a card after a match?! that only a referee can give a player a card during a game?

I agree we have been on the losing end of calls Alot. But Gilardinos goal was hard to see from the referees perspective and then Inter and Milan always get bullshit calls so I don’t see it as the refs doing it because were Palermo. But Catania Cagliari and Torino I agree with that the bias was towards us… Not even us as a team more Zampa and his crazy acts.

I also didn’t agree with the red for Nocerino’s phantom elbow but for Miccoli’s casr even in American sports players get band and fined for commenting on officiating.

In American sports, you get fined. The NHL suspended Avery for his comments off the field – but who cares. The NHL is small time. You don’t see this happening in the NFL, MLB or NBA. Sure, you see alot of fines – but very, very rarely do you see suspensions doled out to players for “hurtful” comments. We aren’t five year olds…

Honestly I’m cracking up right now picturing Miccoli insulting this moron of a referee. Hilarious guy. He shoulda gave him a swift kick in the ass as he was walking away too.

A trident seems impossible solution to me. 433 would muffle Simplicio and 4213 would be risking too much in the midfields. On top of that, I don’t see no reason why Balla would want to change his tactics now. We’ve been working with the current 4312 system for entire season and when it works, it does wonders. Our real problems lies in the midfields where lazy Arab wittles away at minimal pressure from adversary and constantly fails to hold possession.

100% agree with that Kat. 4-3-3 is also impossible because the Arab will invevitably take up one of those midfield spots leaving us having to play 2 balls winners on either side of him, really hampering the offensive prowess of Fozzy.

The idea doesn’t sound too crazy to me either. Guy would be happy to play bench and won’t cost us anything. Win-win deal.
