What are we going to due to replace Zaccardo and Barzagli. were gonna be very thin in the back. What mids r we looking at were pretty much 2nd teamers through out it.

hahaha Steven. Yeah, I saw that too with Bosko. He’s been friskin up the Serbian chicks on his facebook. Is he married though? According to his page he is…

our defense is very very thin. Our starting lineup of Balzaretti-Rinaudo-Kjaer-Cassani is very poor. The wing backs are both good enough, but we have no subs but cossentino, and i am not sure rinaudo-kjaer partnership is good enough for Serie A. I don’t even want to talk about the shape of our midfield right now.

Giro -
we got a bunch of defenders even with Barza and Zacca leaving. Dellafiore is coming back, plus we still have Rinaudo, Balzaretti, Emo’tino (who can single-handedly make any offense cry…literally) not to mention the fact that we will probably get someone in the Amauri deal.
MIDFIELD really needs to be addressed. That’s the concern and we should have plenty of money to find capable mids.

Is that the real Bosko on facebook? and has any one talked to him?

Bosko is hysterical. Def goes tanning and has a super hot wife. Every single one of his friends on facebook are hot Serbian chicks, and then me, Lorenzo and Steven. He had this one Serba that was just insaneeeee let me get her name so you guys can stalk the hell out of her.

So it seems that the deal sending Amauri to Juventus is 98% done, according to Zampa.
Also, another interesting note is that Palladino has seemingly re-entered the equation as one of the possible “contropartite” in the deal. Zampa said, “He doesn’t want to come to Palermo, a bit like all the others that don’t know Palermo and its’ beauty”.
Thoughts?

well palladino we already knew wasn’t coming. Nocerino is come almost for sure, the question is, is he the only one or will we get lanzafame too?

Colin - it seems as if Palladino has re-entered the equation, is what I’m saying. I also think Nocerino is one of the 3 players (from all prior discussion, it seems that we will be receiving 3 players + cash). So, Nocerino is one. Zampa’s comments seem to be saying that we might get Palladino anyway (that would be 2) and then the third player.
I really hope we re-open negotiations for Renato Augusto. While Doni would be a nice veteran short-term solution, we need to be thinking long-term. Signing Renato would be huge.

and now, the worst news of the day…our boy Emo’tino is 100% certain to leave Palermo at the end of the season to get more playing time…
who are we gonna have now to make opponents cry?!? http://www.stadionews.it/brevi.asp?ID=37640

I dont know to much about Lanzafame. any one got any info on him? and who is gonna be the next foward palermo makes any ideas?

Guys,
I did a short on Hellas Verona for the Italy-page. Go and have a look: http://italy.theoffside.com/serie-a/the-hellas-verona-tragedy.html

Steven - I saw that. Nice stuff. Bittersweet with Hellas though, eh?
Giro - We have De Melo (from Le Mans) for next year and most likely Budan will be returning to Palermo. Then, there’s Cavani and the other usual suspects. Plus, maybe someone from the Amauri deal.

Damn since Emo’tino leaves we might need that emergency defender. Kjaer for Barzagli is probably a downgrade. Zaccardo for Dellafiore is prob a slight downgrade as well that’s if we even get Dellafiore. Might need a cheap veteran defender because we are looking SUPER young in defense except for Biava who just sucks.
I like our attacking options. I expect one of Tissone, Pinto or Doni to come. Add that to Jankovic, Miccoli, Cavani, De Melo and Budan…that’s not too bad. As far as Palladino goes if he doesn’t wanna play for us I won’t shed a tear. Huge ego as far as I’m concerned and do we really need another Barzagli on our hands?

Also if we get Ciccio Brienza coming back our attacking mid/supporting striker quota is looking like it’s been filled 3X over.

exactly. if i had to bet, ricci, it’d be Pinto who is for certain coming to the Renzo Barbera. It’ll be hard to nab a bandiera like Doni and Tissone is hardly an option (in my mind).
I’m fine with Pinto.
Now a couple decent midfielding options and maybe one or two defenders and we’re set.

Pinto is beastly on the wing, every time I watch Atalanta play he gives their left back nightmares. VERY hard to knock off the ball too, he’s like a middle class man’s Maicon.

Lanzafame would be great buy he is young, good dribbler and quick as a hell. Nocerino is good as well certainly better then Guana, and probably as good as if not a little better then Migliaccio, though not as consistent. our defence is thin though, and with all these attack mid/wing options we are being linked with i better not see Bresciano here next season.

Bad news for any Bagheresi fans. We were relegated to Promozione Sunday in a ‘play out’ against Kamarat.

speaking of the lower leagues, who else is hoping for a Lecce comeback to Serie A?

Vabres couldn’t save us, eh Anthony?

Guess not, which is a shame. We were really looking promising the past few months. Then to lose to Kamarat, who should be relegated.
Can’t say they went quietly.
