GRAZIE AMAURI

“10, 100, 1000 Toni non fanno un solo AMAURI!”

Un Solo Amauri

Amauri…

Grazie Amauri

Un Vero Campione

From Stadionews:

He has etched his name in Palermo’s history books. He will never be forgotten. The heart of a champion. It’ll be hard to see him in another jersey…but it’ll be even harder to replace him.

Grazie per tutto Amauri!!!!

I’m a bit sad myself, but I have to think; if Guidolin stayed on as long as he had, would Amauri have stayed on?

    Fucking shame…

Toni is an Italian world champion. Amauri looks good in pink. You choose.

    tito:

Toni has been given a chance at playing with the national team, Amauri has not…neither for Brasil or Italy.

Fantastic post Lorenzo. This is the Corini-press conference all over again. I have a feeling that we haven’t seen the last of Amauri in Palermo. If he ever wants to come back when he’s 36, I’ll chip in for the salary.

    Toni Mercenario, Amauri Fantastico.

    Thanks Steven…

In fact, you’re right about this not being the last we’ll see of him. I forgot to include THIS gem:

We would all welcome him back with open arms…
